Guangdong big top iron ore bit Heyuan City Lianping, containing tin, zinc large-scale high-temperature hydrothermal metasomatic skarn type magnetite, an important iron resources in Guangdong Province.
1, material composition
The multi-element analysis of the ore is shown in Table 1, and the mineral composition is shown in Table 2.

Mineral composition characteristics:
(1). Iron minerals are mainly magnetite, accounting for 97% of the total iron in the original ore.
(2). Magnetite is mainly composed of medium and coarse inlays, of which -40+10mm grain size, magnetite ore monomer dissociation degree is 27-38%, and -10+1mm grain size monomer dissociation degree is 54. -71%, -1+0.2mm particle size monomer dissociation is 83-91%, -0.2mm monomer rate is 96-99%.
(3). Magnetite contains many different forms of impurities, in which spinel platelets and gangues in the form of inclusions have a greater influence on the iron content of magnetite, resulting in iron ore containing iron. Only 67.52%.
(4). 50% of tin is stored in the form of cassiterite, and the others are colloidal tin.
(5) zinc sulfide to zinc metal in the presence of only 6.54%, accounting for 37.38% of zinc oxide, zinc spinel accounted for 50.08%. Therefore, the main valuable minerals in the ore are magnetite, followed by cassiterite.
2, the process
The main point of the process is to use coarse grain pre-disposal, the waste yield is 18.52%, and the iron occupation rate is 3.45%. The ore after the waste is selected by a grinding magnetic separation iron concentrate and two-stage grinding two-stage selection. In the process, the iron concentrate grade is more than 65%, and the iron recovery rate is greater than 94%. Considering the fluctuation of industrial production, the two-stage grinding process is recommended.
3. Test results
Iron concentrate yield: 63.80%; grade: 65.54%; recovery: 94.11%.

So the cut has high parallelism, roughness can reach 6.3 and it doesn't damage metal chemical composition. Thus, is has a longer running life and less mechanical loss.
Downhole motor shall be disassembled as quickly as possible after use to examine cardan shaft. If it is found out that wear degree is over maintenance standard, relevant consumable components shall be changed promptly. If not, downhole motor can not be running normally due to overrun of the cardan shaft.
